Very kind owner who goes out of his way to meet the customers needs. Food always the best and portions are more than adequate. Most times people are there waiting to order and the phone is ringing-always a good sign that this is a great place to eat.

Best food in town. Hunter and his staff provide great service. When you visit this establishment, it's like visiting with friends and family. When you leave you always feel better than when you arrived.

mr hunter is the greatest and he have the best fresh chinese food in town. his restaurant is clean good food and he know me by my name even when i call him on the phone .mr hunter and his staff is best.mr hunter if you dont win this time you are a winner in my book (kia lynch)

China Gourmet is the only Chinese Restaurant in town for me. Excellent menu selections including vegetarian choices. The food is not greasy and has NO MSG! The food is always cooked fresh to order. The owner runs a great business, everyone is always friendly.

This is by far the best Chinese restaurant in Gaston county, and it wouldn't be to much of a long shot to say its the best in the state... especially if your looking for good service to go along with excellent prices, selection, and taste.
On a more personal note, the owner, Hunter is one of the hardest working and most respectable people I know. He's there every day the sign says he'll be... rain, snow, or shine
